This is a special post for a special lady, here is a note from her mother Melanie (who I might add is also an incredible woman).
"April 18th marks one year from Bailies chondroblastic osteosarcoma diagnosis! Saturday the 20th Is the Hyundai Hope On Wheels 5k for children's cancer!
She has been through and accomplished so much since then and would love it if we could support her on Thursday via Facebook with some uplifting, crazy fun and positive words!
Landon and the M2G team will also be running for her that day. Watch for the post!! We are so excited to have met such a wonderful and caring bunch of people! The PCMC Foundation has asked Bailie to be their guest patient speaker for the event! She accepted and is very excited to brag about her life a bit! If you would like to see this awesome event, it is taking place at Liberty Park this Saturday morning around 7:30am. She is speaking at 8am sharp! You can also sign up for the 5k If you would like. Just go to either Hope On Wheels or Salt Lake Marathon's website for details.
Her speech and photos will also be on the news, websites and in newspapers."
I would like to emphasize that this was Bailie's second battle with cancer that she fought and won. A soul of the earth young woman who is warm, compassionate and undeniably generous. She's wicked crafty too, Bailie is a skilled jewelry designer, she makes handmade blankets and rugs, she loves to bake and will get her hands in any craft project that often results in a masterpiece. She is an inspiration. JRP cheers Bailie on for this past year has been quite a journey for this angel. May this next year be filled with more peace, laughter, crafts projects and hope. Thank you for being you Bailie.
Below are some images I had the privilege of taking this past winter when Bailie and her family were out visiting from Utah. I think they speak milestones about who this sweet angel is.
